Admissions

What are peak and off peak times?

Monday to Friday term time are our off peak time, School holidays, bank holidays and weekends are our peak times.

Why do you charge for adults?

During peak times (school holidays, bank holidays and weekends) we charge a small entrance fee for adults. We have a strict guidelines on capacity levels within each location and this enables us to provide a comfortable and safe environment for all our customers. We are a family company and would always encourage adults to join their children in play or even our stage entertainment.

What are your opening?

Our opening times are detailed on each centre’s home page. from time to time this may change but we will always keep you updated via our website or social media pages such as Facebook.

Is there an age restriction?

Partyman World is suitable for 0-12 years old children. Older children are welcome to help supervise younger siblings. Children over 12 will be charged at the adult rate. All guests must be supervised by an adult who is over the age of 18 years old.

Who supervises the children?

Parents/Guardians must supervise their children at all times. The team are always available to help and assist if you need them. We recommend a ratio 1 adult to 5 children at all times.

Do we run play sessions?

During peak times such a school holidays we may enforce a play limit to maintain your comfort and safety. This is only ever a minimum of 2 hours and you will be notified at reception, prior to entrance, if this is the case

What are the rules of play?

Our rules of play are a set of key rules we have drawn up to ensure everyone has the best experience they can when visiting our sites. You can view them here.

Can i bring guest?

Of course you can bring new guests to Partyman World. Children and visiting family can visit our centres as your guest for the day

What clothing should the children wear?

We suggest comfortable clothes ideally long sleeved top and bottoms. Socks must be worn at all times by both children and adults accessing the soft play.

Also don’t forget to make sure you empty your pockets before entering the play frames. All the slides and climbing can mean things can fall out.

Are we allowed to take photographs during our visit?

Yes; unless it is expressly prohibited, you are permitted to take photographs and recordings with certain areas of the venue, only depicting your own family and friends and solely for your private use.

By accepting entry into the venue you acknowledge this rule. We take the privacy of our guests very seriously and if it is brought to our attention that any guests are not adhering to the rules we hold  the right to take matters further

Is there parking nearby?

All of our sites have car parks within walking distance. We are proud to say the parking is free at all our sites (except Eastleigh where there is a small fee)

Do you offer discounts for groups?

Absolutely! We offer a range of discounts for groups depending upon their size and requirements. Please visit our groups and schools page for more information. You will need to provide evidence of which group or school you represent.

Is the centre available for private hire?

Yes! All our centres offer exclusive hire for the special party. All details can be found on our party page.

Do you have facilities for special needs?

There are a number of play elements within Partyman World that will be beneficial for those with special needs. Carers are encouraged to supervise and accompany the children on the facilities. We offer a complimentary carer on productions of proof of disability.

Food

Can I buy food during my visit? What do you sell?

We have a cafe at our centre which caters a wide range of items and dietary requirements. We offer both healthy options as well as some treats for you and our little guests. You can view full menu on our website Click here

 

Can I bring in my own food?

Unless it is for little babies or for a specific dietary requirements we cannot cater for then the answer is no. As mentioned above we have a cafe on site which offers a wide range of options for both children and adults. We have limited seating space and have to offer it to our paying guests first. Also this helps us control what food in consumed within there premises for allergy purpose.

Why do we sell alcohol?

Some of our centres sell a small selection of beers and wines. They are available for parents to accompany a meal they ordered or when attending a party. Any alcoholic beverages can only be consumed within certain areas of the building. We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy and have strict rules in place with regards to the consuming of alcoholic beverages which includes no advertising as well as only being offered is a plastic cup. What if I or my children have dietary requirements?

We hope that our menu can cater for everyone however if you have specific requirements and want to discuss this with our team then please contact us. All our cooks and management team are allergy training.

Birthday Party FAQ's

What party packages do you offer?

We have a selection of different packages to suit all ages and tastes. Take a look at our parties page for more information. Click here

Can I have my party at any time?

Each site operates designated party time slots. These are 10am, 1pm or 4pm for day time slots and our private hires start from 7pm onwards.

What is the duration of the party?

Each party lasts 2 hours, what this encompasses depends on the package you book. All the details can be found on the party page on our website or if you pick up a party leaflet at one of our sites.

Do adults coming to my party have to pay a admission fee?

No, all adults bringing their children or attending as your guests do not pay a admission fee. We ask that when planning you party you consider a 1 adult to 5 children ratio for supervising the children.

Do I have to pay for children less than 12 months?

Children under 12 months are free but they will not have a seat at the party table, or party food.

What happens if extra guests turn up to my party?

We call you approx a week before to confirm number however we understand that until the day of your party this can change. If extra guests do attend your party on the day we can ensure we do our very best to cater for them. If however they are not party guests and siblings of guests who are invited they will need to pay the admission fee and will not be included in your party experience.

What happens if some of my guests do not turn up on the day?

We understand it is always difficult to know exactly how many guests will attend which is why we only take the party deposit before hand and the final payment is taken on the day after all your guests arrive. As long as you meet the minimum the final payment will be based on who actually attends on the day.

Is there more than one party at a time?

We can have multiple parties taking place at one time but we ensure that you have your own dedicated party host to give you and your guests the best experience possible.

If there is more than one party how do you know which children are guests to our party?

On arrival your party host will supply you with a coloured wristband for each child. This identifies that all guests with that coloured wristband are for your party.

What is the role of my party host?

Your party host is the key point of contact for the party. They are there to assist you with the running of your party from explaining the rules to the children, cutting the cake as well as making yours and your guests experience enjoyable.

Please note that children remain the responsibility of the party parents at all times, as do all personal belongings.

What if the party children and parents forgot socks?

We sell socks at site. However we always recommend you to bring some spare socks with you in your bag, especially in the summer.

Can I bring my own birthday cake?

Yes you can.

Can I arrive to my party early?

We ask that at the party host you arrive up to 10 minutes beforehand and invite your guests to arrive for the start time of the party.

Do we have a reserved area for our party?

Your party will have its very own party pod area for the whole duration of your party. We do not reserve a separate area for parents and adults and they are free to choose to sit anywhere around the centre which is available?

Do you provide food for adults?

Adult food is not included in our packages however we have a range of adult platters for you to choose from. These can be found on our party page Click Here
Each platter caters for approx 10 adults. You can also order from the cafe on the day however we do not advise this as we cannot guarantee the waiting time for food.

Can I add adults platters on the day itself?

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to cater for your requirements on the days therefore we would always recommend you pre order your adult catering.

I don’t want the adult guests to pay for drinks at the cafe, what options do I have?

You can set up a tab with us on arrival which means you will cover the cost of the drinks ordered by your guests. Speak to one of the team or your party host on arrival and they will happily set this up for you.

Can I bring my own food to the party?

No, children’s food is included in all our packages and you can order food for the adults beforehand either as a platter or at the cafe on the day. Outside food and drinks are not permitted with the exception of your birthday cake.

What if I have dietary requirements for children’s party menu?

We offer a standard, vegetarian and halal option for the children’s cold food buffet. If you have any additional requirements please contact a member of the team.

I want to have a theme for the party, can I bring my own?

Yes you can. Just let us know when booking and bring it along with you on the day. Please note that due to the design of some of our party areas we may not be able to hang/stick up banners on the walls/sides.

Do you allow customers to supply their own helium balloons?

Yes – if what you have requested is not something we can provide you may bring your own balloons however they must be filled with helium before arrival as we cannot inflate.

Can we extend the party?

No, we are not able to extend parties, however if you really wish to have a longer party you may book and pay for two consecutive time slots.

Can I bring my own music?

Unfortunately no! We have strict rules on what music we can and cannot play at our sites.

Can I take photographs at my party?

Do we charge for invites?

No they are free of charge. You can either have them posted to you, collect them from site or download them on our website.

How do I secure my booking?

You are required to pay a £60 deposit in order to secure a birthday party booking.  On payment of the deposit you are accepting all birthday party booking terms and conditions. The party deposit is non-refundable.

When do I pay the balance for the party?

The balance of the birthday party cost must be paid in full on the day of your party, usually one hour after the party has commence.

I have paid my deposit but want to cancel my party?

Birthday party deposits are non refundable should a birthday party booking be cancelled.  Notification of cancellation must be by telephone call to Partyman World of Play during our opening times. All cancellations must be notified within 10 days prior to the booked birthday party date,  if less than 10 days then a 50% cancellation fee will be incurred

I want to change the date of my party booking?

If you wish to transfer a birthday party booking to another date and/or time will be required to pay a £20 transfer administration fee at the time of the change.  Any changes to dates or times can only be made with the agreement and permission of Partyman World of Play

Private Hire Parties

What time are you private hires from?

Private hires are available to book from 7pm onwards. They offer a exclusive use dry hire of the whole facility.

Who else will be there?

Private hire gives you exclusive use therefore only our staff members will be present with your party

Can I extend the booking and have the party for longer?

Yes, you can. We charge an additional £100 per hour and you can book up until 11 pm.

Can I have the private hire earlier?

Unfortunately, we do not offer private hires for any earlier than 7 pm.

Will the cafe be open for food and drink?

The cafe will be open for refreshments and snacks. If you would like food catered for the children and adults you have the optional extras of platters or meals for the adults and children. These must be pre-booked.

Can I bring my own food to the party?

No,  you can pre-order food for the children and adults beforehand either as a platter or as meals. Outside food and drinks are not permitted with the exception of your birthday cake unless you pay the additional corkage fee of £150.

How many guests can I bring?

We have strict rules with regards to capacity at our venues. We advise that you have no more than 200 people attend the party. Private hires do still need to adhere to our 1 adult to 5 children ratio.

Can I sell tickets for my party?

Private hire is for your personal use only for your guests and family to enjoy. You cannot sell tickets for events at the venue. The only exception to this rule is charity events.
